My name is Lucie Barnshaw and I am a Level 3 apprentice at Monkey Puzzle Grange Road.

I love working here because looking after and caring for the babies in my room gives me a real sense of purpose. I also love building strong bonds and relationships with the children and families, as well as maintaining good communication with parents. I love the child-centred environment at Monkey Puzzle because it values children’s voices and needs within a warm and stimulating setting. Seeing the babies form trusting bonds with you and being such an important part of their world and early development is the most rewarding job in the world
